Our west Texas dust storms are a blessing and a curse. On bad days, you can "chew the air" and feel the grit in your teeth, but it also gives us glorious sunsets like this one. As the Sun descends to the horizon, that thick, dusty air filters the sunlight to the point you can safely watch the disk of the Sun sit on the horizon.
